Talk to Studia. Tell her what you want in your own words. She asks a few questions, then builds your list from real school data, with her reason for each school.

How it works

Four steps, at your own pace

  1. Is there a college already on your mind?
    No college in mind yet

    Talk it through

Studia asks a few questions, one at a time. Tap an answer or type your own. Skip what you do not know.

  2. 2

    Build a long list

Open her suggestions on the map and star the ones you like. They collect in one place.

    Keep what felt right

After the visits, move the ones you would apply to onto your short list, in your order.

Studia, your counselor

Start with a conversation

Studia asks what a counselor asks first: what you love, how you want to study, where home is. Then she suggests three different schools and tells you why each one fits what you said.

  • Suggestions from 1,000+ US colleges with official data
  • Ask what a school is like, or how two compare
  • Likely, Match and Reach, from your own numbers
Year one it is. Where is home?

So far: you build things, you want engineering from year one, and home is Singapore, right? Three that fit, each a different kind of place. Which one pulls you, and why?

Your lists

From a long list to a short list

Everything you star collects in your long list. After you visit, move the ones you would really apply to onto your short list, in your own order.

After the visits

A visit changes minds. Let your list change too.

Seeing a campus tells you things no website can. Move the schools you would really apply to onto your short list, and Studia notices when starred schools sit there and never move.

Studia. Your counselor

You have starred five schools and moved none of them to your short list. The short list is the one I reason about.

What students say

From students using it.

"I had a list of dreams and no idea how to get there. So I built something."
Matthew · Co-founder
"I told Studia I wanted engineering near a city. She found three schools I had never heard of, and two are on my short list now."
Sofia · 11th grade
"The map made it click. For the first time I could see where all these colleges actually are."
Daniel · 10th grade
"My parents and I look at the same list now, so we talk about schools instead of sending each other links."
Lea · 12th grade
How your list is made

Rules, reasoning, then people.

  1. 1

    Rules first

Every one of the 1,000+ colleges is scored against your answers by fixed rules: subjects, size, setting, budget and anything you rule out. The scoring is the same every time.

  2. 2

    Then Studia reasons

A leading AI model, held to strict instructions, chooses from the schools that passed and tells you why each one fits. It can only pick checked schools, never invent one.

  3. 3

    Then we check

Our team, with admissions experts, reviews real lists. What we find goes back into the rules and the instructions, so every list after it gets better.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

Something else? Send us a message.

Who is Carpe Studia for?

High-school students in grades 9 to 12, and their parents, looking at US colleges and universities. Families in the US use it to go from a long, vague search to a list they believe in. Families abroad get the same, plus help with the parts of the American system that are new to them, and prices for international students.

Do I need my grades and test scores?

Studia asks where you stand in your own school system, such as IB or A levels, and whether you will send SAT or ACT scores. That is how your list gets honest Likely, Match and Reach labels. Skip what you do not know. You never need a list of activities, and you do not need an American GPA.

I have a friend's link. What do I get?

Open the link and sign up: your first month is free instead of the usual week. Your friend gets a month added to their trial once Studia has built your first list. Members find their own link in Family settings.

Does it cover universities outside the United States?

No. The catalog covers US colleges and universities only: 1,000+ profiles built on the US College Scorecard and official school sources. You can live anywhere; the schools are American.

How do I get started?

Sign up with Google, or with your email and we send you a sign-in link. There is no password to remember. Students can start on their own, or a parent sets up the family and invites them.

Where does your school data come from?

From official sources. Every one of the 1,000+ colleges carries US federal data from the College Scorecard, and each school's own Common Data Set where it publishes one. This year's tuition comes from the schools' own pages for most of them.

How is this different from asking a general AI chat?

A chat answers from what it learned or finds online, and it can guess. Here, fixed rules first score every one of the 1,000+ colleges against your answers. Studia then chooses only from the schools that passed and says why each one fits. Our team, with admissions experts, reviews real lists, and what we find goes back into the rules.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Your first week is free, with no card needed. After that one subscription covers the whole family.

Who is Studia?

Studia is the counselor built into Carpe Studia. She knows the catalog and your lists, suggests schools, answers questions about them and helps you plan visits. She is part of the app, not a person and not the counselor at your school.

Is my personal data shared with external data providers?

No. Student and family names are removed before anything is sent to the AI provider, and put back only in your own view. Your data is never used to train their models.
